Whooping cough cases have doubled from 2010 to 2011, with more than 1,700 cases. Parents and close family are the source of infection for more than 70% of infants with whooping cough. All children under the age of twelve years are funded for the whooping cough vaccine.  A vaccine is also available for adults  -  a charge applies. Minor Surgery

Crawford medical has an air-conditioned sterile operating theatre. A variety of minor operations are performed at the surgery, including vasectomies.  Ask your doctor about having your minor surgery at Crawford Medical. Most insurance policies will cover the costs.
